About English Literature
The English Literature Study Program was established in 1999 based on The Decree of Directorate General of Higher Education No. 499/Dikti/Kep/1999. This study program is the first undergraduate study program established in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. From 1999 to 2018, The Study Program of English Literature was led by four Heads of Study Programs. Dr. Sri Endah Tabiati, M.Ed. became the first Head of Study Program for the period 2000 – 2006. Furthermore, Fatimah, M.App.Ling. became a the Head of Study Programme until 2013, and was continued by Yusri Fajar, M.A. (2013 – 2017), Juliati, M. Hum (2017 – 2021), and Isti Purwaningtyas, S.S., M.Pd (2021 – 2025).
