Short story is a branch of literature works. This literary work is a common category of competition from elementary school to college level. One of students in the Study Program of English Literature named Raden Roro Sekar Nisita P. who is from batch 2019 has participated in decorating the end of 2021 with her achievement.
She had a big interest in literary works made her dare to participate in one English competition that is creating a short story. In that opportunity, she make a short story with the title “Dawn Rises, Star Fell”
Come up with that story, Raden Roro Sekar Nisita P. get on the 3rd place for Short Story competition category in Express and Explore Life in English (EERIE) 2021. EERIE itself is an English competition for high school students and universities students that was held by one of Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) which is the English Club of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the online by Zoom Meeting platform.
May the achievement that Raden Roro Sekar Nisita P. obtained can be a motivation and also inspire the others student in the Study Program of English Literature and Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) to develop their interest and talents by taking a part in joining a competition.
