In relation of the implementation of community service program (KKN) odd semester 2021/2022 Faculty of Cultural Studies Universitas Brawijaya, below are some provisions that need to be considered for students who will register in this period. The implementation of this KKN is still considering the Covid-19 pandemic situation by adjusting various health protocol provisions. The provisions for the implementation of community service program are as follows:
- There are three types of KKN that students can choose from, namely;
- Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T),
- Institutional Internship KKN (KKN-M)
- Internship KKN at FCS UB (KKN-FIB)
- Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T):
- Conducted individually (not in groups) and carried out offline (offline)
- It is carried out in the community where they live/home. The scope of the residential environment that students can choose is at the RW, hamlet, kelurahan, village, housing, or certain residential neighborhoods.
- Each student makes a KKN-T program in the chosen environment, which has been approved and signed by the person in charge or the head of the local environment (Kades, Lurah, Dukuh, or RW Chair). The consent form can be downloaded below.
- Programs that can be carried out by KKN-T students include (1) participating in village/kelurahan social activities that already exist in their respective neighborhoods; (2) making works (written or visual) to assist the handling of covid-19 and other social problems in their respective environments that are published in print (posters/newspapers) and online (social media/online mass media); (3) participate in providing learning assistance to children in their respective environments according to the fields they are engaged in
- The environmental head approval form can be uploaded at https://s.id/vVfcV no later than June 17, 2021
- The implementation of the program must comply with the health protocol regulations.
- Institutional Internship KKN (KKN-M)
- Done individually either online or offline
- The institutions referred to by the village are government institutions or private companies, civil society institutions, or other community organizations.
- If the internship is conducted offline, the chosen institution must be located in the same area (city or district) with the student’s residence/domicile; prohibited from taking KKN-M outside the city or district outside the domicile.
- If the internship is done online, there are no restrictions on the distance from the area where you live.
- Each student must get a reply letter or email proof of correspondence with the relevant agency as a form of approval to do KKN-M. Reply letter uploaded on the link https://s.id/vVfcV maximum date of June 17, 2021.
- Internship KKN at FCS UB (KKN-FIB)
- Done individually either online or offline.
- Students can do KKN in work units at FCS UB such as Study Program, LIH, PSIK, SAC, IRO, BPPM, BPJ, etc. The number of students who do KKN at FCS UB will be limited, according to requests from each work unit.
- Information regarding the placement of KKN students in the FCS UB work unit will be announced later.
- KKN students for this period are required to register on the website https://fib.ub.ac.id/kkn/no later than June 18, 2021. Please select the “ODD 2021/2022” period in the data input on the registration page. Errors and delays during registration may result in student KKN activities not being processed during this period.
- The schedule and deadline for the implementation of KKN in this period are as follows:
- Registration: May 17 to June 18, 2021
- Upload proof of approval: June 17, 2021
- Debriefing for KKN students: June 24, 2021
- Distribution of DPPL: June 28, 2021
- Implementation of Community Service Program: July 1, 2021
- Guidance and KKN exams until before UTS Odd Semester 2021/2022
- Other provisions will be regulated and announced further according to the decision of the FCS UB KKN Team
