On Friday (1/18/2019), Graduation Event Period 7 Academic Year of 2018-2019, was held in the Auditorium of the building A Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB). Started at 8 a.m., Indonesia Raya was sung by all participants after the Dean and Vice Deans of FCS UB, Heads of the Departments, and Heads of Study Programs entered the room.
Hamamah, M.Pd, Ph.D., as the Vice Dean of Students Affairs, delivered the academic report. She mentioned the names of the graduates and their predicate. The number of FCS UB graduates for period 7 was 25 people with the average graduation predicates mentioned were Cumlaude and Very Satisfactory.
The event was continued with a briefing by the Dean of FCS UB, Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, SE., DEA. Next, the announcement and certificate handover to the best graduates, Alif Nur Fitri Pratiwi from English Literature Study Program with GPA 3,84.
The following was graduation medal collaring by the Heads of the Study Programs started from English Literature Study Program, Japanese Literature Study Program, Chinese Literature Study Program, English Language Education Study Program, Japanese Language Education Study Program, Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, and Fine Arts Study Program.
The next event was the speech by the best graduates, Alif Nur Fitri Pratiwi. The event was closed with a prayer by Achmad Ruslan S.P. After that, the graduates got a briefing due to the university graduation techniques.
The event was ended with a sharing session by Yusnia Sakti. She was a graduate of the English Literature Study Program FCS UB in 2011. In 2012-2014, she worked as a Malang TV and Gajayana TV journalist and is now active as a lecturer at the Polytechnic Malang. In the presentation, she conveyed the views of work and the business opportunities after becoming a graduate of FCS UB. (DT/MSH/PSIK FIB)
