FCS UB Released 333 Students for Community Service Programs

Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) carried out the Community Service Program (CSP) in the even semester 2019/2020 on Monday (12/23/2019). There are 333 students to go to various institutions and villages. There are 17 students for Thematic CSP, eight people from FMIPA, and nine people from FCS. There are also Internships CSP at UB, UJM FCS, PSIK FCS, BPPM FCS, Study Programs in FCS, Kanal24, UB Press, UB TV, and UB Radio.

In this event, Prof. Dr. Agus Suman, S.E., DEA, Dean of FCS UB conveyed the importance of behaving in the community. “Don’t forget to maintain ethics and politeness, both in speaking and behaving. Good ethics and behavior must be upheld as they should because good behavior reflects good personalities,” said the Dean of FCS UB.

“Keep the good name of the institution and of your family,” he continued.

There are two mentoring programs for CSP of the even academic year 2019/2020 namely DPL and DPPL. The DPL is to visit the company to ensure that students carry out their duties and to initiate MOUs. Meanwhile, the DPPL is to guide the report writing. In this period, CSP activities are spread throughout Indonesia, including Lombok, Sumatra, Jakarta, and Malang.

“Although many students choose to do CSP in Malang, there are also CSP programs overseas, such as international class students who visit the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia, and study there as well as carry out community activities,” said Dr. Moh. Hasbullah Isnaini, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Chairperson of the CSP FCS UB. “One of the activities done by students at USQ is introducing Indonesia,” he concluded. (DT/MSH/Humas FIB)
